Carta Poder, or Power of Attorney, is an instrument to authorize a person’s ability to negotiate legal matters, in this case, in Mexico. We have developed an extensive network in the Republic of Mexico. These types of services at MIGH include, but are not limited to the following:

Carta Poder es el instrumento con el que se autoriza legalmente a una persona para llevar a cabo uno o varios asuntos legales en México.  Algunos de los servicios que se pueden realizar con una Carta Poder otorgada a una Persona en México son:

2. Escrituración de Propiedades (Property Ownership)
3. Administración de Bienes (Property Administration)
4. Préstamos Hipotecarios (Home Mortgage Loans)
5. Donación de Propiedades (Property Donations)
6. Demandas (Lawsuits)
7. Divorcios (Divorces)
   
8. Adopciones (Adoptions)
   
9. Reconocimiento de Hijos (To Acknowledge a Child)
   
10. Corrección de Actas de Nacimiento (Birth Certificate Corrections)
    
11. Juicios de Intestado y Testamentario (Probate- Intestate or with a Last Will)
    
12. Renuncia a Derechos Hereditarios o Repudia de Herencia (Relinquishing Inheritance Rights)
    
13. Cesión de Derechos (Ceding Legal Rights)
    
14. Pensión Alimenticia (Alimony)
    
15. Retiro o Cancelación de Cuenta Bancaria (Bank Account Closing)

All Power of Attorney documents require certification from the Secretary of State verifying its authenticity for legal documentation, so that it can be accepted in Mexico.  Without this certification, the above mentioned documents will not be valid in Mexico.

Todas las Cartas Poder requieren de la Apostille. Este es el documento que acredita la veracidad del Notario Público ante la Secretaria del Estado de Texas, para realizar y firmar Cartas Poder y otros documentos. Si usted lleva un documento sin Apostille no tendrá la validez legal dentro de territorio Mexicano.
