Día de la Familia

The best way to promote graduation is to experience one. Having successfully completed any of our courses, the parents can walk across the graduation stage and receive a diploma. For many it is the first diploma they receive in their lives. Children and parents alike share in the joy of graduation.

Gala de la Independencia

The gala is our annual fundraiser to support our successful Community Learning Centers program. At the Mexican Institute of Greater Houston we believe that “Independence” has a renewed meaning for the Hispanic community we serve. It is closely tied to the exercising the individual’s freedom and self-determination to elevate his/her potential in life through education.
